Madina Jewel is a brand name fully owned by Permata Emas Bintang

( Business registration number 001970321-T).

The orginal owner of Permata Emas Bintang was the late Mr Yahya bin Osman. He started his career in gemstones industry as a sapphire and rubies miner in Pailin, Cambodia .Back in 1960s, Pailin was a flourishing town in Cambodia, very well-known for the mining activities of these precious gemstones.

Unfortunately, the civil war broke out in 1974-1979 which had forced him and his family to seek refuge in Malaysia. Being in the new foreign land , he brought along his skills and expertise in gemstones, established a jewelry store at Bukit Bintang Plaza Kuala Lumpur  in 1983,He named his store Permata Emas Bintang ( translated as in English which mean Gemstone Gold Star).

Now , Ms Madina Yahya is  the 2nd generation of this gemstones miner family, offers her skills in jewelry designing which she acquired from Gemological Institute of America . She  simply call it Madina Jewel.
